Asalp is an Algorand Foundation backed project, who offer a decentralised donation platform allowing users to support global causes with ALGO and receive a tailored Charity NFT for their crypto contribution.
We are excited to announce a partnership with The Global Alliance for a Sustainable Planet ( GASP), the introduction of Wendy Diamond as a strategic advisor and the recruitment of staff in marketing along with several more full stack developers to help us change the face of fundraising as we know it.
The Coming Updates:
- Charity NFTs V2
New Charity NFT designs are coming to asalp.io to increase participation from donors and incentivise donations by changing the Charity NFT designs weekly!
We are introducing tiered 3D gif designs that are rewarded based on pre-set donation tiers that will be shown on the homepage for prospective donors to see what designs they will get. We understand the ambiguity for designs around using machine learning ai and thus donors will now be able to see the designs prior to donating.
Charity NFT designs will be changed weekly to allow other NFT projects, artists or Algorand startups to submit designs to be the sponsored Charity NFTs for that period. This can act as the perfect marketing tool in the lead up to a mainnet launch or allow users access to an NFT artist’s work despite not getting their hands on one for the mint. Artists will be rewarded with a commission of the donations coded into the smart contract to guarantee they are compensated for their contribution too.
All Charity NFT designs will be changed from ARC3 to ARC69. Donors will be able to view their NFTs on the explorer and see the charity name, the campaign, donation amount and what number CNFT they have.
2. NFT Marketplace
Whether it is an Art NFT or a Charity NFT donors and charities can sell digital art through asalp along with creating collections, minting NFTs (with traits) and even creating NFT listings that give x% of proceeds to a charity on asalp.
With the huge correlation between NFT projects and philanthropy, asalp can now guarantee the charity gets compensated by coding the their wallet address into the NFT listing’s smart contract.
3. New UI
Improving user navigation between charitable campaigns and NFTs is very important to us and as a result we are changing the UI. We are also integrating the Pera wallet app for mobile access to asalp and the Algorand blockchain.
Adding alternative crypto currency payment options such as $STBL, $USDT and $USDC are also a priority for us in allowing stable coins to be transacted to boost donation income for charities.
The timeline is about 4 weeks out and we look forward to sharing the updates with you.
